Home Nursing Group’s new look uniform is light, fresh and bright. The decision to revamp the uniforms for Direct Care staff was driven by their own professionalism and commitment to the company and our clients.

The new teal colour of the shirts delivers an easily identifiable HNG staff member for a vulnerable group of Australians. While HNG’s role in serving those people starts in the office, the exceptional care in the home is provided by our Direct Care staff, so it’s their participation and commitment is essential.

The task of changing uniforms for HNG employees started with a trial of selected shirt with a cross section of staff, male and female, in the New England and Mid North Coast environments and feedback was submitted. The collective response lead to another selection of shirt, again trialed in the same way and successfully accepted by the employees who will be wearing them. With 77 Direct Care staff currently working with HNG across the New England and Mid North Coast, it was a massive task to collect information from all and ensure the correct orders were placed, then delivered out to staff, ready for 2020 launch.

In addition to the new shirts and pants, all HNG employees are provided with identification (ID) cards, with a photo and name. Having these photo ID’s assists clients to feel safe, secure and ensures the staff attending their home is backed by the Home Nursing Group brand.

A team effort by Human Resources Administration and the relevant Team Leaders, the roll out of the uniform items and ID cards is a success for HNG’s new look for the new decade 2020.
