Sometimes all it takes is a few modifications to make everyday tasks and chores easier.

Our Occupational Therapists can assess your functional needs and recommend home modifications, assistive technology and equipment, to assist you to continue your regular day-to-day activities.

At Home Nursing Group we have a team of professional and fully qualified Occupational Therapists who are here to support you to maintain your everyday life activities.

Occupational Therapy (OT) is a profession that promotes health and wellbeing through occupation. Occupational Therapy focuses on enabling people to take part in their activities and hobbies despite illness, disability, mental health or emotional difficulties.

Our Occupational Therapy service will work with you to develop strategies to build on your skills & adapting your activities and/or environment. This can be necessary after an accident, an operation, a stroke or other health problems due to aging.

Once an assessment has been completed, we work with you to achieve your goals and help you continue to lead a productive, safe and independent life in your home:

  • Home safety and modification recommendations
  • Application for special equipment and devices
  • Practical advice and information
  • Falls prevention planning
  • Educational programs
