Help at home – Domestic Assistance

Home Nursing Group understands that you want to remain independent in your own home.

Sometimes extra support with basic tasks and household chores, such as cleaning, washing, ironing, and meal preparation, can make all the difference.

Simple household chores can become harder to stay on top of, especially if you are dealing with important health issues or are busy caring for a loved one.

Home Nursing Group can support you with completing basic household chores, on a regular or occasional basis.

We can support you to live at home by helping with day-to-day duties, these include:

  • Making the beds
  • Changing the linen and towels
  • Cleaning the bathroom and toilet
  • Cleaning the kitchen, taking out the rubbish and recycling
  • Cleaning floors – sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
  • Gardening and maintenance
  • General tidying up
  • Pet care

Home Nursing Group understand that everyone’s home is different, and our staff are fully trained to assist you in keeping your home the way you want.

Whatever it may be, receiving support in maintaining your home can help you lead a safe, independent and healthy life.

Domestic Assistance may be available under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, a Home Care Package, or for self-funded clients.

Fees and charges vary dependant on a range of factors including, your aged care eligibility, the type of service and the government funding available to you. Home Nursing Group fees are increased annually in line with the Government subsidy increase. Please call us for detailed information on our pricing or visit the Healthcare Australia website.

“I wouldn’t be able get the place clean or anything else if they didn’t help me. Try it if you want to stay at home, I’d recommend Home Nursing Group to anyone”.
