Scheduling Officer – Armidale

Home Nursing Group is a locally owned and operated Commonwealth Approved Provider of community aged care services, supporting older people to live safe, healthy and happy lives in their homes.

We are looking for a Scheduling Officer with a high level of administration skills and experience in database applications. Our ideal candidate will have initiative, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Working as part of a team, the successful candidate will be responsible for staff rosters and client scheduling while maintaining accurate records and data entry.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SELECTION CRITERIA:

Essential

 Advanced skills and experience with a range of computer software packages and database applications, including the suite of Microsoft Programs

  1. Demonstrated time management and organisational skills with an ability to cope with competing demands
  2. A demonstrated high level of communication and interpersonal skills including both written and oral communication
  3. Relevant qualifications and experience strong administration skills and attention to detail
  4. Lateral thinker with strong problem solving and analytical capabilities and flexibility of approach
  5. Demonstrated ability to successfully undertake duties and achieve agreed objectives within a team environment as well as independently applying own initiative
  6. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of EEO, WHS, risk management, quality assurance and records management requirements as they relate to this position
  7. Hold a current NSW driver license
  8. Current National Police Check by an ACIC accredited body. The purpose of the Police check must be stated as, suitable to work in aged care or with vulnerable persons.

Desirable

  1. Experience within the aged care sector dealing in a compassionate and efficient manner with clients and their families
  2. Clinical knowledge and experience
