Payroll Clerk

Armidale/ Tamworth – Part time position 6 days per fortnight

Due to the recent growth of Home Nursing Group (HNG) we are seeking a Payroll Clerk to join our team. This is for an immediate start with the possibility of full -time hours to be discussed after successful completion of the probation period.

This role will suit someone who has demonstrated payroll experience, who can work autonomously, is a strong team player, has attention to detail and who is committed to making a difference in the things they do, through constructive contributions and insights.

  1. Minimum of 3 recent years’ experience in payroll administration
  2. Experience in MYOB or like payroll applications
  3. Strong communication skills – written and verbal
  4. Good analytical and planning skills.
  5. Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Word processing and Excel spreadsheet applications
  7. Must have good attention to detail
  8. Excellent organizational and time management skills
  9. Excellent working ethics and ability to treat documents with confidentiality
  10. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  11. Demonstrated time-management skills and the ability to apply problem-solving skills.
  12. Demonstrated ability to successfully undertake duties and achieve agreed objectives within a team environment as well as independently applying own initiative.
  13. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of EEO, WHS, risk management, quality assurance and records management requirements as they relate to this position.
  14. Hold a current NSW driver license and preparedness to travel
  15. Current National Police Check by an ACIC accredited body. The purpose of the Police check must be stated as, suitable to work in aged care or with vulnerable persons.

  2. Familiarity with multiple site network environment
