The Jacaranda Social Club offers a variety of program activities which are designed to promote positive interaction and to meet clients needs. Positive outcomes are achieved by focusing on the clients’ strengths more than their limitations, therefore increasing levels of engagements and active participation. The club aims to strengthen community bonds and provide fun opportunities for our local citizens, with activities including coffee catch-ups, pottery and ceramics classes, creative arts programs, musical entertainment, bus outings, gardening, local history talks, ‘Mind, Body and Balance’ exercise classes, drumming, choir, and more.
Participants can register with the program and then access selected activities of choice for $1.25 per hour (Tues-Fri) or entire sessions including morning tea, two hours activity ($5) and lunch for $5 ($10 total, Wednesday and Friday).
