HNG staff graduate as Registered Nurses

Congratulations to Heidi Lees and Christine Pointing

Congratulations to Heidi Lees and Christine Pointing, staff at Home Nursing group who have just received their Registered Nurse Registration with APRHA following their graduation this year.

Heidi and Christie have been working as Assistants in Nursing over the last 2 years getting valuable field experience to add to their nursing training whilst studying the Bachelor of Nursing through the University of Armidale.

“It has been great to be able to work in the community and get hands on experience in nursing while we studied”, says Heidi Lees. “Home Nursing Group has been  supportive of flexible working hours and has offered me additional skills and real life experience with the elderly that has added to my study. I will really miss the friends I have made here”.

“Home Nursing Group have not only been flexible in our work supporting us to go on practical experience but have also provided RN supervision to extend our skills while on the job”, says Christine Pointing.

Heidi and Christine will both be moving onto to Registered Nurse roles in NSW and Queensland in 2016.

Home Nursing Groups endeavours to support our staff in upskilling and career growth through flexible work arrangements and skills training and support. We are very proud of their achievement and wish them all the best for their future careers.
